Did you catch yourself lately noticing that you work exactly the same way as you learn new things?
We tick and act after 4 learn-types: auditive/listen, visual, haptical and linguistic.
We either listen to CDs when we learn or we watch a video-clip or a movie. We do or produce something or we touch items! We speak to others about a new topic, discussing it or asking questions. Mainly it´s 2 types of all 4 we use. Both are quite distinct!
The way we learn is the same way we work and keep things in mind, things we need to do! Knowing how we tick helps us with our Self-Discipline. Which learn-type are you? Can you tell without testing?
Before you start wondering why I come-up with the 4 LEARN-TYPES and how we individually tick, let me explain how you can connect this positively to your decision making:
The better you “see” or “hear” or “prepare” (do) or “discuss” your decision alternatives, the faster you will decide and the better you will feel with THE chosen alternative.
Now, of course you can´t measure your feeling for this alternative and you can´t see the real outcome clearly in front of you – yet, BUT your feeling about the chosen alternative is the only remaining supporter which keeps you motivated during your decision process and the on-going procedures which the change will offer!
This is my take-away for you :
keep on working the way you usually learn!
Use this individual habit for your motivation! It´s one of the best things to do during your whole decision process. You might like to view this video clip if you are a VISUAL-type: How to make your criteria “visible” If you´re the auditive-type then maybe you just want to listen to the video-clip.
Maybe take a minute now and reflect how you work and prepared your past decisions. Is it the same way you love to learn? Or do you do it differently, just because it is a decision process?
BE A DECISION MAKER. BE OUTSTANDING.
