The Future Decider: Consequently Dependent
Don´t we decide to reach freedom? Do we pay with taking over the responsibility of our decisions? Does it mean we are less dependent afterwards? NO.
Freedom is gone. Networking with direct connections are present. The global structure links us to each other…… and I love Science Fiction – the future.
The Sunday Newspaper today posted an article that Germany is quite popular these days. Germany runs like a clockwork. Its land is small compared to other countries, business is deeply connected within the country and they run networks which reach out into the world. Germans are curious people and they love to travel. But each running system has various level. One wheel runs the next, the large one runs more slowly than the smaller ones. And it has a bottom line. You find the drop-outs down there.
Now, who decides when the world is fully connected? Absolute dependency asks for a running system. It´s the structure which keeps it alive “and kicking” – people, in and out. None needs to decide once a Nation found its direction. That Nation won´t need any decision makers, does it? On which level do we spot the few decision makers in our future? What if the Nation moves in a cluster like a herd?
Direction. A herd starts moving into a certain direction once more than 50% of the herd turn their head into the same direction. There is no bossy animal which starts moving first, asking with its outstanding arrogance that all others may automatically follow. It´s about the first head moving “there” and keep on staring into a new direction, maybe just to still its thirst.
Fact is, a full dynamic dependency offers no freedom. It offers reactions. But one of them reacts first. He is free!
Decision making has to do with freedom: it´s about having and following our own vision. It´s mental liveliness. Will this freedom die? Will the appearance of free vanish from earth? What is our future looking like once we just react and can´t make our own decisions anymore?
Lets view business decisions: how much is left to decide once each company enters a running system? It´s about who is next to us when we need to fulfill something to keep the biz running. In terms of connecting we ask: who is like us? With whom do we connect best and keep making more business with? Who runs with our pace, and who is suddenly behind? Who dropped out? With whom can we connect next in such urgency? Is there the luxury of time to decide on a quality level? What about the costs in that time gap? How many employees do we need annually? Who are our ideal characters?
Already, the IT Industry concentrates on hiring 15% of autistic personalities. Some say that they are working in the IT Industry already and now companies add more on top. They run best what needs to run.
NEWS: The traditional resumée is going to die first. Education is a basis on which companies add the character, resilience, complex-thinking ability as a survival characteristic and talent owning personalities will run the world market. Maybe not on the lower level but will there be a lower level in the future? Isn´t the low level already outsourced and captured in separated service-companies? Yes.
Maybe the best running companies will employ specialists only. Companies will be sorted by specialists. Development is a sector. Production is another, separated and running by a different company. Shipping is outsourced to logistics and is run by another company. It´s these dependent companies that are connected to each others businesses. It´s them who run their own system like a herd. They compete with several other companies in a cluster. It´s not one against each other, its groups or teams competing with others groups and teams of connected companies.
In our future, in the global connected biz structure made of modules, the typical micro-global company structure (known as a traditional “do it completely yourself” company) won´t be alive anymore. It´s a dinosaur who extinct centuries ago.
We are what we are. And we are what we express, most visible in our present running business structure and its new direction.
