We decide best when we trust – ourself and our information. With my new BLOG-series I am leading you closer to yourself, to help generate more trust in yourself. One step towards is to know yourself!
It takes some analysis of course but it´s not really hard to do.
What´s the result you will read once you answered your question of “WHO you are”? What´s your answer to “WHERE you are”? If you have a little trouble finding out, let me give you some advice how to approach to find its best matching answers…..
WHO are you?
Easy! View yourself like single parts of someone of your forefathers, no direct copy but maybe a little puzzle of some personalities. Some of us come out as a clear copy of a parent or one certain forefather but mostly I guess we are made by more than 1 puzzle piece. We receive talents, abilities and a bias. We find similar hobbies from a forefather and identifiy with one person more than with the others. If you go after this you will know WHO you are.
WHERE are you?
If everything went well in your life then you are where you truly belong. It will be the ideal workplace, good and supporting friends and you move in a “dream come true” condition. If life was leading you first through a big maze thou´ where you were lost, then it´s your task to adjust your situation. You might have started with a job someone asked you to do. You might have agreed to that advice or idea. It seemed “ok” but not “ideal” in the long-run. Ideal exaggerated means: you smile all day when you do what you do.
Whatever we think, whatever we do, whatever we repeat day after day as a habit will lead us to WHERE we are today. Are you at the right place? If not – how far away are you from where you belong? I am sure you´re close.
A company won´t ask “who” they are
A company has a certain mission statement which describes clearly WHO they are. It displays their culture and each culture will hire matching people. Their developed and produced services and products give a clear statement of who is working there. But it´s the mission statement which shows the customer what they stand for. Values define the “who”.
And each company starts or goes to a certain location where they want to produce and sell. Its the market that invites them to be there. If they find themselves at a “wrong” place then they missed to figure out their ideal customer or the ideal customers slowly moved.
Know who and where you are – trust yourself. It´s trust that leads you towards great decisions.
BE A DECISION MAKER. BE OUTSTANDING.
