In my last blog post I wrote about this feeling many of us do experience in life, in a life which isn´t written by a well chosen script but which happens one day after the other: that 1 decision in life often feels like you are only moving 1 inch/1 cm ahead.
If we decide about our professional career, we decide WHERE to enter and once we do enter this stage, we are placed on a start-position. From there, everything takes time. The future slows down.
If we decide about chosing our partner, we decide with WHOM to enter a partner-stage which means family and from marriage on, we start working on it. All attendees seem to slow us down.
If we decide about which hobby to follow mainly, we set a direction of which people we are going to meet in the future. We set fate and it will slow us down.
1 Decision = 1 inch.
Many other decisions will follow afterwards. Those decisions belong to a certain stage for which we have orientation. It will not feel SO HARD to make a choice, once we belong onto a certain “land”.
….did you see the movie?
I did watch it several times now and it includes 1 hard choice.
Unfortunately there is no obvious decision process to follow or to analyze, as the viewer, just the openly discussed thought-process: “shall I ?” …. or: “shouldn´t I ?” It was almost self-discussed.
The decision then was made but the overwhelming feeling won over the rational decision, and he did it. He did it for himself. to survive. to live.
He made a decision for a stranger: unauthorized.
He changed the persons fate and personal dream. And it was not about a kid. An adult made a decision for another adult, unauthorized.
He played his role well. He was accepted as a second passenger, for a while. One plot follows to destroy this dream and then another plot changes the game after a third person wakes up to join the two passengers.
The movie script really is interesting because right now in our life, we sometimes have to decide about somebodies life, in terms of surviving an illness – or not. When doctors have to switch off the life saving machines or rather its energy, when it doesn´t make sense anymore.
This decision is opposite from it –
Life is more fun when you can share it with someone you like or even love!
But to accept a superior decision, which wasn´t made by you, it seems that it always takes a third person who shows up to open your eyes and make you accepting it. It doesn´t matter whether the person offers his or her opinion or whether the person explains the problem from their point of view, it always takes three to be affected.
Three are forming a triangle. It has 3 corners.
Two is a back and forth path and a back and forth thinking process. It has two dead ends.
This is possibly the reason why we have trouble with pure rational decision making in life. It probably feels like we discuss it in or from a dead-end position. People mostly make decisions which are driven by emotions, driven by pure energy.
Know your position well, when you are facing a decision in life! Write your srcipt. Energy is a trigger. Information helps us thinking the result throu´ rationally. And sometimes we have to take risks.
BE A DECISION MAKER. BE OUTSTANDING.
