My Parents´ Last Will
My parents decided that I will inherit and receive everything they achieved in their lives and owned up to their last days on earth, before they past away. I am wealthy myself and now I receive everything mentioned in their last will. It´s too much to keep for myself so tonight I will sit down, stare at the fire place and think about what I can do with it…… (some hours pass-by)
….and now I make a decision!
I just decided and intended to give it away. I am convinced suddenly it ´s a good thing to give it to the poor. But, then I start wondering – how can I do it best? Knock on their doors and hand it over to them? No. That´s not the best idea. It will probably take too long to visit them all personally. I keep the plan alive but now I go to bed first to sleep my decision over.
The next day I walk through the village I live in and I am talking to the poor. I visit their houses and speak with their families. They talk about a wonder. I hear that they live with a strong belief for better times but they know it won´t happen over night. And right there is my idea! BANG!
I will walk around town tonight when it´s night time and put my gifts into their shoes and those houses, which don´t have their shoes outside, well, I will just drop my gifts through their chimneys. I see that many wives and mothers washed the family socks today because they hung on a washing line at the chimneys close to the fires for tonight, for drying. I have to wait until the fires have died so my gifts won´t burn, is my plan. If I am lucky some will land right in their socks! What a surprise it will be in the morning!
Now that I have a great plan I go home to get ready for my night trip through town…..
Oh, by the way, my name is Nicholas. I made a decision. You might have heard that I was alive hundreds and hundreds of years ago. Just yesterday, on the 6th of December you might have remembered that someone with the name Nicholas once was alive. Yes, it was me!
BE A DECISION MAKER. BECOME OUTSTANDING.
