In my last blog I wrote about the factual image description which helps putting the problem into the nutshell and explain it with factual words.
Here´s how you can train it:
Exactly describe what you see and avoid interpreting it.
Let´s start with what you know: the statue of the goddess of justice!
How does she look like? How will you describe her upstanding statue?
Here´s how you do it: a woman, blindfolded, upstanding, holding a sword in one hand and a scale in the other stretched out hand. Fact.
If you want to train this skill, you may use the 78 TAROT cards which show clear and simple images, quite easy to describe. They have no complex design.
They show figures like death, imperator, pope, force and frugalness. The TAROT cards show special singularities, nicely illustrated and created by Arthur Edward Waite from the U.K.
You may choose the “Six Staves” a card which doesn´t display too many items. You describe what you see on the left side, in the middle and on the right side, then in the background. That´s the whole secret!
Start with looking at the picute for a while. Take it all in!
What comes to your mind?
Write it down…..
A young man is sitting on a horse. The man has a crest on his head. He wears a (red) cape. His right hand is holding an upright bar which has a crest on its top. The bar has sprouts. The horse is covered with a (green) blanket. The horse is looking sideways into the direction of the horseman. In the background we see other men with caps. They are holding 5 upright staves, which all show sprouts.
Now turn to the breakdown of the picture:
the infrantry and the horse take half of the picture, in the deeper zone up to the middle. Only the horseman towers above all, up to 2/3 of the card. The staves tower the horseman. The highest bar is the one with the crest, held by the horseman.
If you don´t like to train the “factual image description” with TAROT cards you alternatively, may start with the photo I added for this blog-post!
It shows a few items only!
Describe it with your own words……………………
I hope this short and simple training of factual image description helps you describing your special trouble, the terrible problem or your provoke challenge.
Put it into words, describe it as an image to get to the ideal goal and abstractly aim at it in the shortest way possible. Any questions? I can´t wait to answer and help you –
