I.M.
I teach and help leaders make better decisions to achieve best results and maximize the chance for success.
Quite interesting, isn´t it? I research my topic daily to serve businesses and lately I got to the fix point that all decisions are I.M. relevant. (I.M. = Information Mgmt.) Not only in business, in all areas of life. Best thought: think of the act of deciding to buy a certain new car. You need the capital and you need to go there and pay, yes. But what you mostly need for making the decision is gathering all kinds of INFORMATION – right?
And you don´t just go for the information of one car, no, you will have to compare so you need to research at least 3 different types and/or brands.
Decision making is relevant for the next step. Our Information Mgmt. is what counts most. Actually we need a real deal of an information-“budget”. So it´s all up to our information level, how well we are prepared before we can and WILL go on. Information fills the gap for our lack of guarantee. We all know that each decision won´t deliver a guarantee. And if our I.M.-budget is filled rich, we do feel more secure.
To become a bit risky during the decision making process you need to be experienced and that needs practise upfront. It doesn´t mean you can “feel” how the next decision will come out, no not at all, but you get less vulnerable once a few decisions deliver a different outcome than you wished. Risky means you lack some information and you lack the luxury of time. It includes that the guarantee feeling is thin.
For a great I.M. you need people in your team who are interested in their job, in your products and service and in offering a great customer service. It´s up to their personal values. It´s up to being principle based. Fact.
Information Mgmt. takes place in each team. Information Mgmt. takes place on a leadership level. The I.M. has to be(come) your business structure. A well placed and healthy grown structure guarantees stability!
BE A DECISION MAKER. BECOME OUTSTANDING.
