Today I launch my last post about the 4 styles of conduct which is the Innovator. Let me explain how you can benefit from this style if it´s not your natural style of conduct.
acts and thinks inventive, imaginative, creative, erratic, integral, persuasive, spontaneous, willing to take a risk, adventurous, vivid, curious.
Let´s get into the details:
Acting & Thinking INVENTIVE:
the inventive leader is a brainstormer, someone who is open-minded and ready for new things! He´s maybe the one where people go to when they have a problem so she or he is pushed to think about it. The inventive person is probably broadly educated and interested but also speciliazed into depth. Positive is that this leader or personality is always informed and tends to research missing information in general. This “habit” is very important and helpful for decision making!
as an idea generator the imaginative personality has the ability to think outside the box and I assume the hobbies are not related or connected to the direct environment.
Imaginative people think of something which is not (yet) existing or of something which is far away from their life or country, but reachable, possible, accessible. They might tend to manifest things into their life as well. In terms of decision making, such people will be motivated and positive. They might ask for the coincidence as another realistic decision alternative while others who are involved might frown….
creative people look for solutions and if they can´t find a proper, tested way or process they might start something new on their own. They are not shy to test new ways for a typical and fast go-on or a get-away situation! What they create is new, fancy and steady or consistent. It can also be a one-time creation for a special situation. They seem to have a natural ability a baker always looks for: being able to mix a new product from available sources. When it comes to decisions, a creative person will add new ideas and maybe leave the secure road to try something new & risky.
an erratic person should be aware of the different consequences when jumping from one solution to the other, thinking about trying more alternatives than just one. It might be more time consuming for effective people when working with this person! But you might get new insights as well….
this is the most positive aspect for decision makers! Being integral offers overview to the team, gives a secure feeling and people get the chance to look at various aspects from the whole. Integral thinkers see more than others and will be happy to explain the details. Such a person is a “must” for deciders!
Spontaneous people are like tigers, they rather move than standing still, physically as mentally. They are driven and they use their own will. They might act as a role model when it comes to deciding and this is a leaders signal. Spontaneous deciders, well informed of course, will go for it!
WILLING TO TAKE A RISK:
risk takers move on! They know how much to risk or to invest, they calculate their risk and don´t complain when the loss appears in the daily life. They don´t celebrate their wins either, but move on! In the end they reach more in life than others (even if it´s only extra life experience) because their mindset is stronger. Risk takers should be a consultant for big decision processes in case they´re not directly included.
a vivid leader sure brings empathy and motivation! It can be a wake up call for shy people and freshen up any decision process. Think about it!
The innovator is partly priceless as a participant within a decision process! Just think of how much the innovator decides for her- or himself when working on own projects. It´s a natural decider type and can help others who aren´t as spontaneous and vidid when change is wanted or needed!
BE A DECISION MAKER. BE OUTSTANDING.
