Describe The Frame 4 Your Decision
You can decide a lot for your future but often you can´t tell any details of the “filling” of your next step!
- What is she talking about?
- What is it that she describes as “frame”?
Are you passively asking me this question? Then you´re still here, reading on. Perfect! In my last 2 posts I explained why you need a strategy when you have no process to follow. It could be new land you enter or doors which won´t open up for you. Any time you´re blind, you need to try something and you must decide to try something and check out in detail WHAT it could be. For following any strategy, which can be a pure try & error experience, you need the complex thinking ability. It´s just the best basics for the long-term breath you need in any strategy. And you need to push aside fear.
But what is it, this strategy?
It´s a plan and short-term action for trying something new. Something which goes with your personal ideas and talents and education. There´s no space for fear, right here! The next thing you plan can only be a hollow step, a fix frame you set out as an empty space. And then you do everything to make this frame visible. Call it your idea. Call it your product. Call it your service. And whatever comes in return from the market will fill this hollow step or frame for you. It depends on what or who you attract to fill this empty position – which is WHY you can´t plan THIS one in detail. And fear of the unknown doesn´t belong to this next step –
A good analogy is a lanscape partly covered by fog: you see where you are, you plan the next step and on the other end somewhere you see your goal sticking out of the ground covering clouds (fog). In-between there´s this thick white fog, concealing the unknown path ahead so you need to plan something and then walk on to reach your goal and vision.
What´s hidden in the fog?
Call it your first target-group. Call it your direct customers. Call it your first company who hires your service. THIS is the unforeseeable filling, the feedback which fills your frame. It´s primary your personal surprise! Your target-group and customers will give you direct feedback of what will be the next step in your stratgey to reach your long-term goal and final vision. Actually you make the 1st step in your strategy and whatever you attract gives advice about the 2nd step! Then, it´s your turn again.
Be ready to be open for whatever it is that you and your product does attract. Only a stable openness is the supporter in the phase of a strategy! Right here you enter the zone of “give & take” and accept.
With your personal direction and motivation you will walk through any strategy-phase in life and you must reach your goals.
