Decision making is the only method which helps people and companies surviving (quite happy) in the long run! Right? No? Yes?
If you actively make your own well informed
in life, there is none to blame. You don´t even have to blame anyone at all.
We can´t control outside situations. We might see them coming towards us. We might get surprised. We deal with them.
Decisions help you moving forward!
Start from the ideal position to reach the next goal by stepping actively forward. Make your own but well informed decisions!
Any time a new situation pushes us to an edge, we have to decide how to handle it:
Step aside quickly?
Close our eyes?
The good news is, there is not only 1 good option for you and me on earth. The more knowledge we´ve gathered in life and the more talents we have uncovered, the better and faster we can decide and move forward from the closest position, almost next to the goal! That´s what makes us reach the goal faster. That´s what makes us happy. Being close!
When we fall – it happens passively. When we jump, it´s an active decision!
When I was handing out my flyers about Decision Making at the local Hannover Airport last year in late winter and spring, I noticed the mimics and reactions of the people I tried to talk to – the reactions often were kind of “hostile”. I realized a negative attitude towards decision making. People wrinkled their nose! I was amused, but also alarmed. Deciding is not always easy, it´s sometimes not fun but it´s an important method of self-leadership.
Let´s view decision making as an investment in yourself !!!
Does this META view make sense to you? Do you agree that whenever you decide actively you do invest in yourself? In your future? In your present time?
If your decision results lead you towards your goals, your dreams, your visions and your opportunities then you´re investing in yourself. It´s investing in life experiences, investing in knowledge, investing in saving energy to do more, and investing in making things happen!
The source of survival in the long-run is also connected to your personal energy level. Energy is your life´s fuel. Keep your glass half-full! Or fill it up with clear decision making!
My personal life experience is that my decision making activities made me survive mentally pretty well, in the long run! That´s why I am writing my blog-posts for you, that´s why I am offering this leadership topic to you. My positive life experiences added up via active decision making, it´s a method and it works well when you follow a decision process.
BE A DECISION MAKER. BE OUTSTANDING.
