Be Foresightfully Resilient
Decision-Making isn´t the topic which probably thrills you when you think about!
But it looks different the moment you ask yourself about your BEST decisions in life! Suddenly you think about what you already decided in your life, you remember the impact, fun and success you took away from the experience! You remember the people and results you met after you made a tough decision!
….. yes, do you? You changed a direction which took your forward.
…. and what about your bad decisions in life?
Yes, it´s those you never took – “I should have done….”
might be your answer right now and your happy face expression will fade by a regretful shadow. The light in your eyes suddeny dims.
If you ever thought about those moments you didn´t take – hey, be fair and think about whether it was on your plate at that time (a real option to chose from) or whether you didn´t even think about it as an available option for your future. No potential past options – no regrets today. You should only regret what you actively didn´t chose to do. Be fair!
No, maybe you shouldn´t do that either!
It was probably your resilient factor back then, a caring shield, that took you away from choosing the option you regret today, today – maybe 10 years later. There was a defense reaction you remember today! Right? The body language or facial expression of someone being involved in that moment launched a loud warning signal to your brains and gut.
Then you were not resilient enough or warned to really do it with joy and with the believe you can make it! Maybe you were loaded with other problems on top of that option and your outlook ability wasn´t very strong at that time either. We can only make great decisions when we can clearly see in what direction an option takes us.
Reactions are emotion-buttons we push!
Decisions can be handled rational. We have this emotional shield inside of us that aims at keeping us alive and mentally on top of every scene we go through. If we are too loaded, it´s hard to be and act positively foresightful AND resilient! And then later in life we might regret this or that what we unfortunately didn´t do.
I have good news!
Whatever was on your plate a long time ago, you´ll still go for it! If not 10 years ago, then you go for it today or next year! Our resilient factor changes during life periods and that influences being more (or less) foresightful and mentally strong.
Whatever we can spot as a light at the end of the tunnel is what pulls us foreward!
Remember? ….then, don´t forget to remember, ever –
No regrets but decisions!
P.S.
There´s no science-proof in my hands, but probably our life unfolds by 80% of the decisions we took!!?
BE A DECISION MAKER. BECOME OUTSTANDING.
