The Government and culture you live in offers a system to start a career, for everyone – at some point. Young people who are allowed to go to school will do so and automatically gain knowledge to feed their education. If people are interested in certain topics, everyone does. And then it stops!
Standards and rules of the system will spit you out of the educational role as soon as you meet those rules, and will ask you for a new act! And right here is the start of your career path. Everything else which is going to happen to you from now on, by external offers and implemented chances is led by your own decisions! You say “yes”, or either “no”.
Deciding doesn´t mean you set up the whole scene to have the luxury of complete overview and be able to do the right thing, no, your decisions are an on-going mechanism to help yourself slip through the next door. The more doors you open and enter the sooner you´re outside at your goal.
View the start in school as an escalator (because it runs by a Governmental system) with single steps you take each year to lift your knowledge and to get overview. Once you start university you step up higher on that original path. Once you start a job in the Corporate world, you find yourself on a new step.
Whatever happens from then on is up to you! This new step could become a floor while resting for too long. Adding knowledge to go-on, applying internally…. all this is about your decisions which will drive you to action. If you start as an entrepreneur and create a work environment to grew with you, you are even more challenged to be a decision maker. Entrepreneurs literally create their career path and lead to change it over and over again to make it grow bigger and stronger.
Make sure to realize that you create your own career path! And then test whether you´re enwrapped by your career – or not (?)
BE A DECISION MAKER. BE OUTSTANDING.
